She spent her teenage years in Germany while her father served as an Army officer, an experience which instilled in her a lifelong welcoming of whatever new opportunities life would bring.

After settling with her family in Fairfax County more than 25 years ago, Kathleen went on to earn her accounting degree from the University of Virginia and has called this area home ever since. She and her husband, John, enjoy gathering with her sisters, nieces and nephews for Sunday dinner at her parent’s home. Kathleen feels having that solid foundation in family ties has always provided her with the strength and confidence to successfully rise to any challenge presented to her.
